What Is Mil Thickness?

A “mil” equals one-thousandth of an inch. To convert mil to inches, divide mil by 1,000 (ex: 2 mil/1000 = 0.002 inches). To convert mil to gauge, take mil and multiple it by 100 (ex: .80 mil x 100 = 80 gauge).

  • The height of the box measurement does not include the flaps.

Please note that the acceptable manufacturing variance is +/- 1/8".
